Sunday Morning Service 9:00am

The service

At Stanthorpe Presbyterian Church we meet together at 9:00am for its weekly worship service. Visitors are most welcome to meet with us for worship.
This service includes singing of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs, a time of pastoral prayer, Bible reading, a short youth message, and a talk about one of the Bible passages read.

Talks about the Bible are clear and simple. Our aim is that all those who attend be well informed about what the Bible teaches, and consequently to live lives that are acceptable to both God and others.

Although an offering is taken during this service, no one is pressured or required to participate. The money collected is used for the upkeep of the buildings and equipment, running costs, and gifts to approved missionaries and other organisations.

Morning Tea

Immediately following the service, a morning tea is provided in the adjoining hall. This is a time to meet with others and to have discussions with the minister or elders.
On the last Sunday of each month, this light morning tea may be replaced by an early lunch provided by the congregation.
